We listen to our customers and field feedback based on real world performance. We know what works and, most importantly, what doesn't work and have continually made improvements to our trailers. Our car haulers are designed and built with heavy gauge wall tubing, which provide exceptional strength and stability. Sun Country Trailers are also easy to operate with minimal hydraulic controls. Vehicles can also be secured from the ground, which can lead to safer loading. All of which leads to simpler, easier training and operation.
In most cases, new trailer orders take an average of 4-6 weeks for completion. This timeline is subject to change according to demand. However, our dealers may have inventory immediately available.
If you are interested in having your new trailer shipped to you, we work with several third-party carriers and can help you coordinate delivery.
All new Sun Country Trailers come with a full one-year warranty that covers the structure and general workmanship and materials with the exception of typical wearable parts like tires and brakes. Our vendors have similar warranties that cover pre-assembled parts.
All Sun Country Trailers are finished with a high-quality, durable powder coat application, with a zinc primer undercoat layer for improved corrosion resistance. We offer (5) standard color options (Black, Red, Gray, Light Blue, Dark Blue) as part of the base price as well as a variety of color options at a small additional charge and have a high possibility to match your truck's color code.
We have several models that work well for this application, especially since all of our trailers are built 102” wide. Ask which models can be outfitted with our trailer track package, which includes 4 ball towers and a winch.
Both. All Sun Country Trailers come standard with multiple ratchet soft straps. We also offer a "chain and ratchet package" option to outfit your trailer with the ability to utilize chain tie-downs when needed. Our heavy gauge 1" pouched flooring throughout the trailer also provides you with secure tie down locations wherever you need it.
If you change your truck, you may need to adjust your trailer to ensure that it pulls level and that all connections, including hitch and electrical, operate safely and correctly. Please give us a call before you change your truck so we can help identify any items that may need to be addressed.
Oil bath hubs need minimal maintenance. Check the oil level during your pre-trip inspection to make sure the oil is to the fill line. All grease-packed hub bearings should be serviced every 12,000 miles or once per year.
Depending on the environment, you can change the filter and oil, using 32 weight hydraulic fluid, every 6 to 12 months.
Apply graphite lubricant to all moving parts, including posts and ramps, on a regular basis. Lube points in the suspension according to the maintenance schedule in the operation manual received upon pickup of your new Sun Country Trailer.
